Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. Her best-known work is her character Skyler White in The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she took home the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love performing at the age of Preparatory and then moved to Ohio and her family in late 1970s. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was a part of Chicago's theatre for many years prior to trying out for film and TV roles. In 1992, Anna found her first big performance in the role of Arden in 29 episodes from Down the Shore. After a brief appearance as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 90's, she was cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood over two complete seasons. Skyler played the character in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood was also a part of her acting career. Gunn is also a part of the stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn played a role in a 4-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad is often built around Walter White's love affair with the wife of his character, Skyler. Their uneasy bond and eventual demise reflect the sad end of Walter White.
